The History of Instant Snow To Go!
In July 2001 Gift Bliss Sales introduced a version of Instant Snow at the Los Angeles Gift Show. The same year, Instant Snow polymer was also introduced by Gift Bliss Sales at the San Francisco and Seattle Gift Shows. That polymer was initially discovered as a result of information we learned about polymer snow, of this kind, being used at indoor snow board and ski parks.
At the time of these initial instant snow introductions at trade shows, we were not certain where the market for instant snow would develop. Gift Bliss Sales realized that a polymer that resembled real snow clearly had a potential market of users. Some of our discussions about uses of this artificial snow included holiday displays for retail stores, displays for events and event venues, sales to science and hobby enthusiasts, magic, bundling the snow powder with snow related products, and we experimented with many floral display uses. As stores began to purchase this polymer snow, and the general public began to be exposed to this fake snow, we found that there was a vast market in sales to anyone who wanted snow for their personal holiday decorating, souvenir and novelty gift purchasing, as well as other uses.
We believed that the first Instant Snow that we introduced needed to address new markets at a better price point, with a more dynamic and dramatic effect, and required improvements to be even more appealing to the general public and for the markets we targeted.
Since problems with the polymer snow we introduced in 2001 existed, Gift Bliss Sales moved to find a more desirable polymer. In 2003, we discovered that a super absorbent polymer snow named insta-snow® was selling well into the toy, hobby and educational markets. We worked with the manufacturer of the insta-snow polymer, to introduce and distribute this powder to the Gift, Décor and Floral, Novelty and Souvenir markets, where we had been concentrating our efforts with the Instant Snow Gift Bliss launched in 2001. Shortly thereafter our Trademark and Trade Name for this snow powder was introduced to the public as Snow To Go! TM
Since 2004 sales of Snow To Go have increased every year, making excellent profits for our Resellers. We take our sales partnership with our Retailers very seriously. We support resellers with everyday customer leads, and we do not compete with them with our own direct internet sales to everyday customers (we send those customers to them). We help our resellers with marketing, and we are always available to answer their questions to help them sell Instant Snow To Go!
In addition to retailers, Gift Bliss has ongoing programs to make our Snow To Go artificial snow powder available to Designers, Florists and Institutional Buyers for events, projects, and fund raisers. We work with Distributors who package Snow To Go powder for specialty and target markets. Distributors who supply retailers outside of the USA are also growing.
Gift Bliss Sales, FishBliss Sales and Gift Bliss Distribution consolidated in 2007 under Gift Bliss Enterprises, LLC. Many TV appearances, press and publicity, and internet videos about Instant Snow To Go have followed. To mitigate misunderstanding for new and potential customers about the difference between Snow To Go and imitators, impostors and wannabes, we took action to register our Trademark - Snow To Go! ® Federal Registration 3,767,385 Gift Bliss Enterprises All Rights Reserved.
