Holiday Decorating Ideas

 * Make a Centerpiece with insta snow for your holiday table:

What you need to start:  Snow To Go insta snow powder and a Tray.

 For example:  You can place pillar candles in the center of the Tray spread made-up Snow To Go around the candles.  Choose the color of the candles to match the holiday (red and green candles for Christmas, or orange and black candles for Halloween, or red, white, and blue candles for The 4th of July).  You can place theme items like holly leaves, ornaments, miniature characters, mini pine trees, little pumpkins, or American Flags in the snow.  What are your ideas?
 * Color Snow To Go with food coloring by adding the color to the water before you add it to the instant snow powder – So you can make orange snow on Halloween, red snow on Valentines Day, green snow for St. Patrick’s Day, or red, white, and blue snow for “Christmas in July”, or for The 4th of July.
 * Use Snow To Go in your Holiday Village presentation, or under your Christmas Tree, or on Pine Trees or Artificial Pine Trees (keep in mind that the evaporation process when snow is on the tree will be faster the more thinly layered the snow is on the tree – so, you may need to add the snow to your tree every few days.  We do not recommend that you attempt to re-hydrate snow on the tree).
 * Make a Crystal Bowl full of Snow To Go with red, blue, or green ornaments in it, for an end table design or centerpiece.
 * Our Snowball To Go! is a wonderful craft project for the family to make ornaments of Snow for the Tree, or you can add orange food color to the snow and make hanging Jack-O-Lanterns for Halloween. Attach miniatures for a snow scene.
 * Pile Snow To Go under your Christmas Tree.  Remember to protect wood surfaces.
 * Cut out the impression of bottom of a large boot, or use your own shoe to make Santa’s Footprints by sprinkling snow around the boot print or shoe, lift and make another footprint and another - with all of the footprints leading to, and from, your Tree, Fireplace, or Front Door.

Floral Decorating and Design Ideas

* Clear Vase Presentations

What you need to start:  Snow To Go and a Vase:

 *For a Large Round Clear Vase Presentation put made-up Snow To Go in the vase with Poinsettia or other plant in the center of the round vase; add enough made-up snow so that the plant’s pot is completely covered. Keep the plant watered.
 * For a Clear Vase Presentation fill a clear vase with hydrated Snow To Go.  Add cut woody stemmed flowers such as roses.  They should actually last longer in the made snow than in water.  It is not recommended that you attempt to use thin stemmed flowers, as the water absorbing properties of polymer snow could have an adverse effect for your presentation.  It’s always a good idea to test how the materials that you are using work together.  Alternatively you can add artificial flowers to the vase for an elegant presentation.
 * Color Snow To Go for a fun addition to your Clear Vase Presentation.  Many Snow To Go customers use colored snow presentations after their white snow has been used at least once.  They dry the used snow and re-hydrate it with colored water for a different presentation.
 * Clear Bud Vases with Round Bottoms with made-up snow in the bottom and flowers or a taper candle in it.

Weddings, Birthdays, Bar mitzvah,
Snow Theme Parties and Event Ideas

Holiday
decorating, crafts and floral designs, as decribed above, can be used for these events.  Coordinate your theme or event's colors with colored candles or colored snow add figurines which reflect something about the celebrant(s), such as skiers or snowboarders in the snow, or add items which reflect the theme of a party or event.  These are all great for decorating parties.
But there is more:
 * At weddings you can use made-up Snow To Go instead of rice (just make sure that the snow is not going to end up on a potentially slippery surface such as wood, tile or cement floors.  Grass, dirt, grainy or gravelly surface are best)
 * There are special elegant Snow To Go wedding and party favors, which can be given to each guest, and even name dropped with the names of the couple being married, or name dropped for the event.  Contact us for information about purchasing these “Lets Make Snow” favors for your event.
 * To enhance the features of basic party or event accessories, Snow To Go has, for example, been used on top of the ice in an ice bucket, which chills a bottle of wine or champaign.
 * Picture Snow To Go around an ice sculpture. Cool!
 * Add Fairy’s Frost Glitter to Snow To Go, for an extra sparkly look to snow decorating.
 * Snow To Go Tube packs make great party favors.
 * Snow To Go Poly Packs are an excellent item for fund raisers.  They sell great, and demonstrating Snow To Go becomes an event - inside of an event.  Let your visitors see the explosion of snow when water is added and feel the soft fluffy cool snow that Snow To Go makes.
 * A childs plastic swimming pool full of Snow To Go makes a fun party attraction.  We have even had customers use it to Slip and Slide on.  “Be careful the made up snow is very slippery.”
 * Use Snow To Go liberally at your Party.  Use it in safe corners, on painted windowsills, or window boxes, on counters, on plastic or tile surfaces, and around the yard.  Put it where it is safe for the party goers.  Remember, the snow is very slippery and should not be used on fine wood surfaces.   Although Snow To Go is not toxic and is environmentally safe, it is not to be eaten, it is a choking hazard for young children, and children should always be supervised when around instant snow.  See the safety information on this web site for detailed information.
 "Snowtography" - Take fun pictures in the snow.  Wear a bathing suite or a coat.  Create your own holiday greeting cards, picturing your family in the snow.  Take photos of snow scenes you've created.  Why not make your own movie?

Magic Tricks

Magicians often use instant snow.  One of our retailers, is a Magician.

Here is a trick that he shared with us:

What you need to start is Snow To Go powder in a Salt Shaker Like container with Large Enough Holes, so that the snow powder can pass through it easily.  You will also need a clear container (a 4 oz clear plastic cup works great), with enough water in it, so that the snow powder you add to it will be fully absorbed and overflow the container when the snow is created.

Make the following statement;
“You know the clouds can be ‘salted’ to make rain”

Point to the water in the clear container and say;
“Well, I have some rain water here.”

Hold up the salt shaker with the snow powder in it, start shaking it into the water and say;
“And…when I add my ‘special salt’ to rain water…”

Practice when to stop shaking in the snow “salt”, and wave your hand mystically over the water and say;
“I can make Snow!”

Since we have more years of instant snow design and fun experience, and the largest retailer distribution network of anyone in the instant snow business, we wanted to share our knowledge here, with our customers and future customers.  We have no doubt that the knock-off folks will attempt to co-opt much of this information, gathered by Snow To Go, and claim it as their own - as they have in the past.  Beware of the imposters who make sweeping claims without complete understanding the original instant snow, they often audit our presentations and copy our ideas.  We don't know how they copy being original, but they even copy that.  Some of these folks have even named their products after the wording that we used to describe the attributes of Snow To Go! ®.  We can only continue to bring light to what the insta-snow® family knows – “beware of impostors, imitators and wannabes.” Thank you for your business.
